Court Square Summer Concert Series

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Memphis, TN, October 11, 2006 - The Center City Commission has moved the Court Square Concert Series to Jefferson Davis Park, located at Riverside Drive and Jefferson. The remaining three concerts - featuring The Memphis Allstars on October 11, Jim Dickinson and the North Mississippi Allstars on October 18 and The Reba Russell Band on October 25 - will still be held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm.

The concerts are free and open to the public. Seating will be available first come, first serve in front of the stage, but folks can also to bring their own chairs or blanket, and picnic baskets are welcome. Vendors will be onsite as well to provide refreshments. A special thanks to Riverfront Development Corporation for hosting the remaining three concerts. The map below shows the location of Jefferson Davis Park.

The Court Square Concert Series is presented by Faxon Gillis Homes and the Center City Commission, and sponsored by The Hotels of Court Square, Newby's, ReMax on the River, Memphis Sound Entertainment™, Citadel Memphis Radio Group, Memphis Flyer, Downtowner Magazine, MLGW, and Dr. Kelli Dumas, the downtown dentist and Power 99, SoulClassics 103.5 and 98.1 The Max.
